Course Description
This course covers the fundamentals to becoming a strong mathematics student. It focuses on the foundational skills or Arithmetic and Algebra which form the bedrock for all Mathematics. We ensure that students are well practiced in Algebraic thinking and problem solving. We also allow students to suggest topics from their school curriculum and incorporate end of term exam coaching into the classroom.
Our online classes are a different experience. We use games and activities to keep the students participating and engaged in every session. We incorporate practical, real life and entrepreneurial activities inside our curriculum to help students have an authentic conceptual understanding in Math.
Students will have access to our comprehensive Google Classroom containing all curriculum materials including notes, pdfs, slides and supplementary videos for every topic. So students can always catch up on things they miss if they are absent. No textbook needed!
Our classes are small so students receive individual attention when necessary, and are often encouraged to participate in team settings. This course includes formative and summative assessments with individual reports on student performance and parental consultations offered at the end of every term.
This course is perfect for FORM 1 students, remedial students or homeschooled students.
